Continental Paving Inc., the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), began pavement milling operations today on Day Street (Hooksett Rd. to Blevens Dr.) and Bridget Lane (Day St. to Barrett St.) as part of the roadway improvement project.
Base paving is scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2026, weather permitting. Additional paving and roadway improvement activities will continue throughout the project, which is anticipated to be completed by the end of June.
Parking on the street will be limited during work hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect traffic delays and are advised to follow all posted detour signs and seek alternate routes when possible. Travelers are encouraged to use Blevens Dr. as an alternate route.
Residents should plan accordingly and expect potential delays, as well as limited access to properties during construction hours. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions and maintain access whenever possible.
