Road Work Notice: June 8 - June 12 - 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily
Road Closures (expect detours):
- Union St. (Willow St. to Clay St.) – detour via Willow St. and Silver St., northbound lane will reopen at night
- Somerville St. (Beech St. to Maple St.) – detours via Silver St.
Partial Lane Closures or Lane Shifts – Traffic to be maintained through work zones
- Brown Ave. (Queen City Ave. to W. Baker St.) – northbound traffic to be detoured, southbound to remain open
- Cilley Rd., South Willow St., and Queen City Ave. – temporary lane impacts
Temporary Lane Impacts – Traffic to be maintained through work zones
- Wilson St. (Hayward St. to Valley St.) – sidewalk to be impacted
- Elm St. (Calef Rd. to Brown Ave.) – curb work and minor patching
- Cohas Ave. (Island Pond Rd. to Greenwood Court and Old Cohas Ave.) – curb work
- Rand St. (Hanover St. to Crystal St.) – Wednesday 6/10/26, 7am – 3 pm
- Namaske Boat Ramp (Electric St. & Bremer St.) – Thursday 6/11/26 – Friday 6/12/26, 7am – 3 pm – location closed for paving and surface restoration work
What to Expect and Important Notes
- Expect road closures and detours during construction hours.
- Please follow posted detour signs and allow extra travel time.
- Parking will be prohibited within the construction area.
- Drivers and pedestrians should use extreme caution when traveling past work zones, especially at night or in adverse weather when visibility is limited.
- Driveway access to local businesses and homes within closures will be maintained and closely coordinated by the Contractor. If driveway access is temporarily blocked, coordinate with crews or police for property access.
- For lane shifts during construction, follow new lane markings, barricaded routes, or traffic cones and allow extra travel time.
- Whenever possible, we encourage drivers to plan ahead and avoid the construction area.
