ROHNERT PARK - On the morning of June 15th, 2026, the Rohnert Park DPS Communications center received a hit notification from the Flock ALPR system in the area of Rohnert Park Expressway and Labath Avenue for a black Jeep Grand Cherokee that was an outstanding stolen vehicle out of Santa Rosa. Units arrived on scene and began checking the area for the vehicle. The Jeep was located occupied by two suspects, parked in the Rancho Feliz Mobile Home Park.
Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety patrol units conducted a high-risk stop on the vehicle at which point one of the suspects fled on foot, jumping fences into the yards of adjacent residences. The other suspect was located hiding in the back of the Jeep.
With the assistance of a K9 Unit from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, Units conducted a search and the outstanding suspect was located hiding under a storage tote in the yard of a nearby residence.
Hector Santana (40, Santa Rosa) was booked at jail for the following charges: 496d(a) PC (Possession of a stolen vehicle) and 148(a)(1) PC (Resisting arrest)-Misdemeanor
Anatolio Barocio (45, Petaluma) was booked at jail for the following charges: 11377(a) HS (Possession of suspected methamphetamine)-Misdemeanor, 11395(b)(1) HS (Possession of a narcotic controlled substance with qualifying priors)-Felony, 496d(a) PC (Possession of a stolen vehicle)-Felony, 166(a)(4) PC (Violation of a Court Order)-Misdemeanor, and 148(a)(1) PC (Resisting Arrest)-Misdemeanor
The stolen vehicle was seized to be returned to its lawful owner.
