A commercial warehouse fire is currently burning in Boyle Heights near Commerce, located near S. Indiana St & Union Pacific Ave.
Fire crews are currently on scene working to contain the blaze.
The public is asked to avoid the area until further notice to allow emergency personnel to work safely and efficiently.
Due to heavy smoke in the Bandini area, residents are advised to shelter in place, remain indoors, and keep windows and doors closed to minimize exposure. Residents should also turn off fans or air conditioning systems that bring in outside air.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
