Death Under Investigation
Middlesex County Prosecutor Linda Estremera and Chief Mark Tinitigan of the South River Police Department announced today that a death is under investigation in the Borough of South River.
On June 18, 2026, at 10:01 AM, South River Police Department received a 9-1-1 call reporting a disturbance. Authorities responded to a residence on Kamm Avenue and found a woman and unresponsive male with multiple stab wounds. The woman was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
