Road Closures (expect detours):

1. Union St. (Willow St. to Clay St.) – detour via Willow St. and Silver St., northbound lane will reopen at night
2. Shasta St. (Beech St. to Union St.) – detours via Silver St. For local traffic only, one way traffic in and out from Beech St.
3. Somerville St. (Beech St. to Maple St.) – detours via Silver St.

 
Partial Lane Closures and Lane Shifts – Traffic to be maintained through work zones

1. Brown Ave. (Queen City Ave. to W. Baker St.) – northbound traffic to be detoured, southbound to remain open
2. Cilley Rd., South Willow St., and Queen City Ave. – temporary lane impacts
3. Massabesic St.  (Valley St. to Jewett St.) – partial lane closures, traffic shifted.
4. Elm St. (Calef Rd to Brown Ave) - intermittent traffic interruption including possible alternating one-way traffic patterns.
5. Cohas Ave. (Island Pond Rd. to Greenwood Court and Old Cohas Ave.) –  intermittent traffic interruption including possible alternating one-way traffic patterns.
6. Brown Ave.  (Dixwell St. to 2743 Brown Ave, Veterinary Emergency Center of Manchester) - night work to rehab sewers
7. Mammoth Rd.  (@ Derryfield Country Club entrance ) - night work to rehab sewers

Temporary Lane Closures due to paving – traffic maintained through work zones

1. Trafford St. – (Brown Ave. to River Bank Rd.)
2. Gold St. – (Calef Rd. by 35 Gold St.)
3. Weston Rd. - (Circle Rd. to Memorial HS entrance)
4. Bodwell Rd. – (West Shore Ave. to Corning Rd.)
5. Massabesic St. – (Porter St. to Mammoth Rd. by East Side Club)
6. Silver St. (Belmont St. to Taylor St.)
7. South Porter St. (near Roysan St. by 296 S. Porter St.)
8. Fernand St. – (S. Porter St. to Rockwell St.)
9. Purdue St. – (S. Porter St. by 160 Purdue St.)
10. Central St. – (Belmont St. to Milton St.)
11. Spruce St. – (Clough Ave. by 493 Spruce St.)
12. Hayward St. – (Pine St. to Union St.)
13. Londonderry Ln. – (Maple St. to Lincoln St.)
14. Hanover St. – (Grant St. to Tarrytown Rd.)

 Temporary Lane Impacts – Traffic to be maintained through work zones

1. Wilson St. (Hayward St. to Valley St.) – sidewalk to be impacted
2. Intersection of Queen City Ave and Brown Ave – Temporary 5-10 minute all traffic stop due to blasting operations. Traffic to follow police detail directive.

 
 
What to Expect and Important Notes
 

1. Expect road closures and detours during construction hours.
2. Please follow posted detour signs and allow extra travel time.
3. Parking will be prohibited within the construction area.
4. Drivers and pedestrians should use extreme caution when traveling past work zones, especially at night or in adverse weather when visibility is limited.
5. Driveway access to local businesses and homes within closures will be maintained and closely coordinated by the Contractor. If driveway access is temporarily blocked, coordinate with crews or police for property access.
6. For lane shifts during construction, follow new lane markings, barricaded routes, or traffic cones and allow extra travel time.
7. Whenever possible, we encourage drivers to plan ahead and avoid the construction area.
