PG&E has scheduled a planned power outage tonight between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM Sunday morning to complete necessary maintenance and improve the reliability of the electrical system.
Residents and businesses within the affected area should have already received notification directly from PG&E with details regarding the outage.
During the outage, please remember that traffic signals without power must be treated as four-way stop intersections. California law requires every driver to come to a complete stop before entering the intersection and proceed only when it is safe to do so.
The Cloverdale Police Department will have officers patrolling the affected areas throughout the outage to assist with public safety and respond to any issues that may arise.
We encourage everyone to plan ahead by:
- Charging cell phones and essential electronic devices before the outage.
- Using flashlights instead of candles whenever possible.
- Driving cautiously and allowing extra travel time if traffic signals are affected.
