GMI Asphalt LLC, the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), will perform final paving operations on Bremer Street between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, from Eddy Road to Coolidge Ave., and on Friday, July 17, from Coolidge Ave. to Upland Street.
The road will be closed for through traffic.
Parking on the street will be prohibited during work hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour signs and use alternate routes whenever possible. Drivers are encouraged to use Kelley Street and Mason Street as the detour route.
Residents should plan accordingly and expect potential delays, as well as limited access to properties during construction hours. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions.
