NEWAYGO COUNTY DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER OPENING TODAY
A Michigan Disaster Recovery Center opens today, Monday, July 13, at Inspire Church to assist area residents affected by the April Flood Event.
Representatives from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration will be available to meet with residents, answer questions, assist with disaster assistance applications, and help connect survivors with available recovery resources.

Saturday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

WHO SHOULD VISIT OR APPLY:
Homeowners and renters with uninsured or underinsured damage to their primary residence, personal property loss, or disaster-related emergency needs from the April storms and flooding may be eligible for FEMA assistance.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
If you have homeowners, renters, or flood insurance, file a claim with your insurance company before applying for FEMA assistance.
If you were visited by a FEMA assessment team in May, you still need to apply for federal assistance through FEMA.
The current FEMA Individual Assistance application deadline is August 31.
