Due to utility work taking place on Reid Street beginning today, July 27th and lasting until approximately Tuesday, August 4th, the following closures and traffic pattern changes will be in effect 24 hours a day:
- Reid Street will be closed at Main Street. Traffic coming into South River from Sayreville will only be able to go straight onto Main Street.
- Prospect Street will be closed to eastbound traffic at Old Bridge Turnpike.
Detours will be in place in the affected areas.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and plan an alternate route, if possible.
