Continental Paving Inc., the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), will begin pavement milling operations on Mammoth Road, from Bridge Street to Lake Avenue, on Monday, August 10, 2026. Ancillary work is anticipated to continue on Tuesday, August 11, and Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
On Monday, 8/10, the northbound lane will be closed. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
On-street parking will be restricted during construction hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to follow all posted detour signs and use alternate routes whenever possible. Highland Street is recommended as an alternate route.
Residents should plan accordingly and anticipate potential delays and limited access to properties during construction hours. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions and maintain access to residences and businesses whenever possible.
