Continental Paving Inc., the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), will begin road construction work on Queen City Avenue, from Elm Street to Sundial Avenue, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
During construction, lane closures are expected. Motorists are encouraged to follow all posted detour and traffic-control signs and use alternate routes whenever possible.
Residents and businesses in the area should plan accordingly and anticipate traffic delays and temporary limited access to properties during construction hours. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions and maintain access to residences and businesses whenever possible.
