On August 15, 2026, at approximately 3:04 p.m., Santa Maria Police officers located a vehicle associated with a wanted subject in the 1200 block of Furukawa Way. Officers contacted Santa Maria residents Isidro Munoz Garcia, 40, and Angelina Velasquez Fernandez, 46.
Garcia, who had six outstanding warrants, was taken into custody without incident. Officers located approximately 4.7 grams of suspected cocaine in his possession, resulting in additional narcotics and probation-related charges.
During the investigation, officers searched a storage unit associated with Fernandez and recovered approximately 23 grams of suspected cocaine, a loaded .380-caliber handgun, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and approximately $2,300 worth of suspected stolen merchandise. Fernandez was arrested on multiple narcotics, firearm, ammunition, and stolen property charges.
The investigation remains ongoing.
