* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Perry County in south central Illinois...
* WHEN...Until 130 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1131 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms repeating over the northern half of the county in particular. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Radar estimates between 1 and 2 inches of rain has already fallen across this area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to possibly as much as 2 more inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Du Quoin, Pinckneyville, Tamaroa, and St. Johns. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
