Out of an abundance of caution and to protect life and property during the anticipated elevated surf and coastal flooding conditions, the City of Seal Beach is temporarily closing the 8th Streetand 10th Street beach parking lots through Wednesday morning.
The Seal Beach Pier is NOT closed and remains open at this time.
The City continues to closely monitor forecasts, tides and coastal conditions in coordination with the National Weather Service and Marine Safety. The parking lot closures are a proactive precautionary measure, and conditions will continue to be evaluated throughout the event.
Please use caution near the shoreline, obey all posted warnings, and follow directions from Marine Safety personnel.
