Continental Paving Inc., the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), will be paving the final layer of asphalt on Porter Street, from Cilley Road to Mammoth Road, on Thursday, September 11, 2026.
Lane closures are expected, and Jewett Street is the recommended alternate route.
Motorists should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to follow all posted detour signs and use alternate routes whenever possible.
Residents should plan accordingly and anticipate potential delays and limited access to properties during construction hours. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions and maintain access to residences and businesses whenever possible.
