The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is alerting motorists to a traffic signal outage at the intersection of U.S. 278 and S.C. 170.
As of approximately 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, the traffic signals at the intersection are not functioning.
Motorists approaching the intersection should treat the traffic signal outage as a four-way stop and use extra caution when traveling through the area.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down, remain alert and be prepared for possible traffic delays.
Please use caution in the area until the traffic signals are restored.
