City of Lockport Resident Only Bulk Curbside Leaf Collection Program beings next week – Click More Info.
BULK CURBSIDE LEAF COLLECTION: The City of Lockport's Bulk Curbside Leaf Collection begins Tuesday, October 13th and it will run through Wednesday, November 25th, weather permitting. To take advantage of this program you must be a City of Lockport resident & rake your leaves into your parkway toward the curb.
To prevent potential flooding issues for you and your neighbors, do not put leaves in the street. The City will complete a full citywide round before starting the next round. Each round may take up to two weeks to complete.
If you do not want to wait for the City of Lockport’s leaf truck, you also have the option to put the leaves in brown paper bags for Waste Management to pick up on your garbage day (no sticker necessary).
Please visit our website for all Leaf Collection Options and program guidelines.
**If you are currently signed up for local emergency alerts through NIXLE, you will need to register through Smart911 to continue to receive these and other community alerts.**
