Continental Paving Inc., the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), will be performing construction work on Beech Street, from North Street to Bridge Street, on Friday, October 9, and Monday, October 12, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The work may include pavement milling and other paving preparation activities in preparation for upcoming roadway improvements.
No parking will be permitted on Beech Street within the work area during construction hours.
Motorists should expect traffic delays and are advised to follow all posted detour signs and seek alternate routes when possible. Union Street is recommended as an alternate route.
Residents should plan accordingly and expect potential delays and limited access to properties during construction hours. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions and maintain access whenever possible.
