Silverton: Voluntary Water Conservation Requested for Next 48 Hours
Due to significant rainfall over the past 24 hours and recent high-water conditions in San Juan County, the Town of Silverton Public Works Director is asking residents and businesses to voluntarily conserve water for the next 48 hours.
The Town's drinking water remains safe to consume. Residents should continue using water as needed for drinking, food preparation, sanitation, and other essential purposes.
As a precaution, residents are encouraged to reduce nonessential water use where possible, including postponing laundry and limiting extended showers and baths.
This is a precautionary request, not a water restriction or boil-water advisory.
Thank you for your cooperation as Public Works continues to monitor conditions.
Town of Silverton Public Works
