The 2nd Precinct would like to thank Orangetheory Fitness and its members for their generosity and holiday spirit. The staff and members donated toys which will be distributed to the children of U.S. Marines. The staff at Orangetheory Fitness worked together with 2nd Precinct Officers Claudia Delgado, Anthony Iadevaio and Andrew Fiorillo. The toys were picked up on Thursday, December 10, 2015 by the 2nd Precinct Officers at Orangetheory Fitness located at 500 Walt Whitman Rd., Melville and delivered to Erich Preis of The Spirit of Huntington Art Center located at 2 Melville Rd. N., Huntington Station.
Orangetheory Fitness in Melville celebrated its grand opening in November of this year. According to the website and the fitness studio owner Christina Carrasquillo, Orangetheory Fitness gives you a 60 minute workout with the energy of a group workout but with the attention of an experienced personal trainer. The staff was looking for a way to give back to the community after being so warmly welcomed as a new business in the area and what better way than helping to brighten the holidays for some local area children.
