Modified garbage collection service for St. Helena, Deer Park, Angwin, and Calistoga-area residents
Garbage service provided by Upper Valley Disposal and Recycling will resume with modifications as evacuation orders and warnings are lifted. Perishable food items will need to be disposed of creating additional trash. To help with the additional trash disposal, St. Helena, Deer Park, Angwin, and Calistoga-area residents who have returned to their homes can use all three carts as trash bins on their regularly scheduled collection day for removal this week.
Blue (recycling), Green (green waste) and brown (trash) will all be processed by the garbage company as trash so please use any (or all) of them as needed to dispose of perishables and other household trash through Friday October 9th. Regular pick up recycling, green waste and trash will resume the week of October 12th.
