URGENT - Borough of Leonia - Boil Water Advisory - Effective Immediately
Fellow Leonians:
At 9:16 PM this evening I received a call from a senior representative of Veolia (formerly Suez water). Following is the information that was provided:
Due to a water main break and resulting testing failure, a boil water advisory is in effect for seven southeast Bergen municipalities, including the Borough of Leonia. Customers should boil their water for one minute for the following:
- Drinking
- Cooking or Baking
- Making ice cubes
- Taking medication
- Brushing teeth
- Washing food
- Mixing baby formula or food
- Mixing juices or drinks
- Feeding pets
- All other consumption
