PERRY COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT:

For CANARY RD, CROSSBILL RD, PARK RD, AND BOBWHITE RD
A soil cement project will be processed on the Route of Canary Rd, Crossbill Rd, Park Rd, and Bobwhite Rd to repair damages resulting from the transformer move. During the soil cementing process, sections of the Route will be closed to all traffic. Emergency vehicles will be given immediate access to closed sections. Passenger vehicles of local residents will not be allowed on closed sections for up to 4 hours. Large trucks of local residents and all non-resident traffic will not be allowed on closed sections until the soil cement reaches strength which is expected to be no longer than 24 hours. Schedules for section closures are not definite at this time but a TENTATIVE start date of August 5 is expected. Schedules, when confirmed, will be posted.
