The Rend Lake Conservancy District water supplier has POSTPONED the water outage on their water system repairs. This outage affects the water customers in Perry County served by the Village of Tamaroa, City of Du Quoin, Village of Dowell and Greenwood Creek Nation. Customers served by these water systems in Perry County may experience lower or even no water pressure tommorrow Tuesday February 11, 2025 at 8 AM. Customers served by these entities are encouraged to conserve water if possible until water is restored to these water systems. Once water has been restore forthcoming notifications will be provided.  It is anticipated when supplies are restored all customers supplied by these systems will be on a boil order until further notice. When a boil order is issued customers should only consume water after bringing water to a boil for 5 minutes. This alert does not apply to customers served by the City of Pinckneyville.
