ATTENTION EAST CHICAGO RESIDENTS

The City of East Chicago's Annual District Spring Cleanup begins Monday, March 31st, 2025!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Any vehicle parked in areas marked with No Parking signs between 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM WILL BE TOWED at the owner's expense.

To avoid your vehicle being towed, MOVE YOUR VEHICLE before crews arrive. Let’s work together to keep our city clean!

District 1: March 31^st – April 4^th
District 2: April 7^th – April 11^th
District 3: April 14^th – April 18^th
District 4: April 21^st – April 25^th
District 5: April 28^th – May 2^nd
District 6: May 5^th – May 9^th

• Place all large items in the alley, or curbside where alleys do not exist.
• We ask that you secure all items that may be blown away by the wind.
• All yard-waste materials should be properly bagged and placed at the curb.
• All parked vehicles where “NO PARKING” signs are placed will be towed at the owner’s expense.
• No Hazardous materials (Paint, oil, etc)
