Full Notification

The City of Richmond has recently been notified by Chevron of planned maintenance activity taking place at the Chevron Richmond Refinery and which will be ongoing for the coming weeks. 

In an effort to increase transparency, Chevron has indicated that flaring may occur during this time in accordance with their Air District-approved Flare Minimization Plan. Flaring is part of safe operations, and no off-site impacts are anticipated. Chevron has notified the Air District of this work and encourage community residents to learn how to sign-up for relevant notifications.
