The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a reported Autistic runaway juvenile, Alex Checkoway, 13, of Hilton Head.
Checkoway was reported missing by family tonight, April 11, 2026.
He is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red and blue tie dye "Anaheim angels" shirt and dark pants.
